Greater Holiday Little League Information
We offer a variety of programs throughout the year for all ages! We encourage participants of all ages and skill levels to come out and join us!
Participants will be required to bring their own equipment to play:
Helmets: Helmet must be in good condition with no missing padding or cracks and must have a NOCSAE certification
Face Guards: Face guards on helmets are required for AA and below.
Bats: All baseball bats used in little league must have a USA Bat designation until Majors level. 50/70, Juniors and Seniors can use BBCOR bats.
Cup: All players at all levels must have a protective cup.
Cleats: Players are required to have cleats without metal spikes.
Clothing: Players are provided hats and jerseys in all seasons and in the Spring season pants will also be provided.

The introduction to Little League Baseball for youth players. Players will begin learning the fundamentals of the game such as throwing, fielding, base running and batting with a tee. Coaches are on the field at all times providing instruction. |

League Age 6 - 7 |

Players will continue to develop their fundamental skills on a smaller field. Coaches will pitch to the players on one knee about half way to the pitcher’s mound. Players should show the ability to catch a thrown ball at times and be comfortable swinging the bat decisively. Most rules of the game will start being applied at this level. Coaches will remain in the field to provide instruction. |

League Age 7-8 |

Play begins on the regulation Little League fields. Players should be comfortable throwing, catching and batting the ball in play most of the time. The games will utilize a pitching machine in addition to some players pitching to batters. Coaches will remain on the field to provide instruction and enforce the rules of the game. Some tournament play may be available. |
